@Our Pony Camp started in 1976 is held during each school vacation ( summer, winter, spring and other holidays ). Up to now more than 5,000 children participated in our camp.
The main activity of our PC is based on g One Pony for One camper ( or a small group of campers ) h.
Each child is given a pony to take care of. Not to mention horse back riding , the children groom , feed , muck out the stables and even care for the pony when a pony gets ill or injured.
Children in PC gather not only from Japan but from all over the world such as USA, UK, Taiwan, Korea, Australia and so on. Most children from abroad speak no Japanese and the Japanese children, no English but it is marvelous to see them communicate, cooperate and enjoy with each other through their stay. Once we have had a 7 years old Taiwanese boy in our camp. Having no one around speaking his language, he became homesick but a month later when his mother came to pick him up, he cried in Japanese g I do not want to leave here, I want to stay more !h

The camp, not only be a place to develop physical exercise, improve horse riding skills and to enjoy the nature away from the big cities, but it will also give the children to learn about responsibilities, leadership, affection for animals, friendship and international understandings.

We greatly wish that students of Pony Campers will grow up as g Leaders of Tomorrow g.
Let's enjoy our Pony Camp !
